Megan was transplanted almost 6 years ago. Every year since then the "Kids at Heart" program has sponsered "Boo at the Zoo". The kidss get to where their costumes to the Atlanta Zoo and we all got in free. This is the first year Megan has been healthy enough to go! She had a ball!

We are making it......

Life has been hard but it's good. We are struggling lately but when I look at Megan's smiling face I realize I am so much richer than most. My God is so good. I know satan tries his best to tear this family down because we do God's work but we will keep on tucking for Jesus! Just look at that smiling face and tell me how even the roughest times could get to us!! She's an angel!

Love to all!

Megan is having surgery

Ok, I think we got it all worked out. ENT cannot do the tubes the same day so we will go to ENT and the dentist in December and we will probably do the tubes and get her teeth cleaned at the same time sometime in January. So, on October 17th we will have the echo on her heart and transplant clinic and then we will go on to the GI surgery later on in the day. She will be admitted. Our good friend Donna Duggan (Hannah Duggan's mom, cp-hannahduggan) has so graciously offered to let us spend the night with her the night before so we don't have to get up so early and make that long drive to Atlanta. So we will go down the day before when Gene gets off work. I hate more than anything to see her go through yet another surgery but I know it's for a reason. Please continue to pray for our family and I would like to ask you all to say special prayers for Sam Sucher's family. They miss little Sam so much and they need the peace that only God can give them.

Thanks all!

Tammy
